    The PBH 2500 SRE rotary hammer from Bosch

    The PBH 2500 SRE from Bosch’s “Compact Generation” is an especially handy rotary hammer with lots of power. This tool breaks even the toughest resistance due to its 600 watts of power and its pneumatic Bosch hammer mechanism with a single impact energy of 1.9 joules. In addition to the SDS-plus chuck, the PBH 2500 SRE also has a keyed chuck so that you can also use normal drill and screwdriver bits, for example to drive screws during the final stages of assembly work. This tool always sits comfortably and securely in your hand due to its slim design with softgrip surfaces and its low weight of only 2.2 kg.

    With the Bosch PBH 2500 SRE you are perfectly equipped for whatever you plan to do. This handy tool is suitable for precision drilling in masonry, wood or metal as well as for powerful hammering in concrete or granite. Depending on the material, you use the rotary switch to select whether drilling is performed with or without impact. You can also transform the rotary hammer into a chisel hammer in order to remove old tiles in kitchens and bathrooms or to cut cable ducts. Simply switch to rotation stop, insert a chisel and start chiselling. The PBH 2500 SRE can even perform wall breakthroughs and demolition jobs with ease in its chiselling mode.

    Maximum ease of use

    Small, lightweight and easy to operate – the PBH 2500 SRE from Bosch leaves nothing to be desired. This tool sits comfortably in the hand due to its ergonomic design and low weight, which means you save your strength during work. Changing drill bits and chisels requires no additional tools thanks to the SDS-plus chuck. Vario-Lock also enables the chisel to be fixed in 36 different positions – depending on what the work situation requires. Another advantage is the speed control, which works as an accelerator switch. This enables you, for example, to start drilling gently into delicate materials such as tiles and then carry on drilling quickly at full speed.

    Larger drilling diameters

    The rotary hammer sits comfortably in the hand due to its ergonomic and lightweight design.

    The Bosch PBH 2500 SRE has more power and higher impact force than comparable tools from the “Compact Generation” series. As a result, drilling diameters of up to 22 millimetres in concrete are possible. The maximum drilling diameter is 30 millimetres in wood and 13 millimetres in steel. The PBH 2500 SRE is equipped with a rotation stop for disabling the rotary motion. The maximum no-load speed is 2000 rpm and the impact rate is 5000 bpm – which ensures that all work is performed quickly.
